Within the eBay help experience, Seller Center is the single destination for seller related educational content. To deliver content that helps the business grow, it is important to understand the user needs: What content do users need, how and when? And how do user needs differ internationally? When developing the German Seller Center, the Global Content team at eBay has been using usability methods and tools to refine the Content Strategy and develop the frontend user experience, to measure and optimize the performance, and to plan the international roll out.
Catharina Pawella is Content Strategist at eBay Germany. She recently developed the Global Content Strategy for seller facing content. She is in charge of implementing it in Germany and ensuring that the deliverables can be rolled out globally. Catharina studied business administration with a major in media and communication management. Currently, she trains to become a certified usability consultant.
